Milna

This typical charming small Dalmatian town is located on the western side of the island of Brač. Venetians called Milna “Valle di mile Navi” (the bay of a thousand ships). Now Milna is a favorite nautical port for those who are sailing through the Middle Adriatic.

In the village, there is a beautiful Baroque church with a typically Dalmatian bell tower. The interior of the church is a work of Venetian masters. Stone houses along the beautiful long coastline are small masterpieces of plebeian architecture. If you are in Milna don’t miss tasting Mediterranean cuisine abundant in fresh fish, olive oil and home-made wines.
